  • Responsibilities

    CSS is currently recruiting Certified Industrial Hygienists to provide industrial hygiene services for our Federal government clients. 

    • Candidates should have experience and knowledge in performing baseline industrial hygiene surveys, conducting chemical, physical, biological and radiological hazard exposure assessments, developing recommendations for corrective measures, and entering information collected into data management systems.
    • Candidates should also have experience in calibrating and using industrial hygiene equipment, including equipment used to assess ventilation systems and noise hazards.
    • The positions require team-oriented professionals with strong organization skills, as well as excellent writing and oral communication skills.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) by American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH)
    • BS degree in Industrial Hygiene, Science or related discipline
    • Five or more years of experience conducting industrial hygiene assessments
    • Experience working with, and knowledge of, industrial hygiene standards and regulations
    • Effective written and oral communication skills
    • Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to work as a solid contributor in a team environment.
    • Capable of multi-tasking and changing direction depending on work load.
