  • Responsibilities

    CSS is currently seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician to provide industrial hygiene services at our client site, the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. 

    • Candidates should have experience and knowledge in performing baseline industrial hygiene surveys, conducting chemical, physical, biological and radiological hazard exposure assessments, and entering information collected into data management systems.
    • Candidates should also have experience in calibrating and using industrial hygiene equipment, including equipment used to assess ventilation systems and noise hazards.
    • The positions require team-oriented professionals with strong organization skills, as well as excellent writing and oral communication skills.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Six months or more years of experience conducting industrial hygiene, occupational safety and environmental assessments
    • Experience working with, and knowledge of, industrial hygiene standards and regulations
    • Effective written and oral communication skills
    • Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to work as a solid contributor in a team environment.
    • Capable of multi-tasking and changing direction depending on work load.
